In the autumn, the accumulation of dead leaves in green spaces or on roads can be restrictive. To avoid the risk of falls, grass suffocation, insect proliferation, or drainage problems, RABAUD has designed its range of leaf vacuums, WINDY.
Thanks to its ability to adapt to the sides of a truck, the WINDY 491 RE follows you throughout your worksites without the need to be unhitched, evacuating the leaves directly into the bed. A time and energy saver! With the addition of a RABAUD bed liner kit, increase the filling capacity of your bed and finish your project in a single pass.
To reduce physical efforts, the setup is done by a hydraulic cart. A simple activation of the distributor by the operator allows lifting or lowering the entire cart. The suction hose with cuff, handle, and terracing wheel is mounted on a swivelling bracket for easy handling.
Once sucked in, the leaves go into a turbine. This turbine, offset to avoid clogs, has curved blades and a large diameter scroll for more airflow. The leaves and other plant debris are then catapulted into the discharge chute.
